Who We Are

Fire station personnel conduct Home Fire Safety Surveys, provide free smoke alarms and free batteries (Battery for Life Program) on request. Citizens can call their local fire station directly.



Plus visit the Educational Topics are available on website for a variety of helpful articles: home escape planing; carbon  monoxide alarm program, smoke alarms, etc.



The Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department's File of Life program is designed to assist Fairfax County residents in a medical emergency by providing easy access to critical medical information.



The File of Life Program encourages residents to fill out the form, stresses the importance of updating the file whenever there is a change in the information.
