Lifelong Learning

Community Service-Learning (CS-L) co-creates transformative learning environments and mutually beneficial partnerships with students, faculty members, and community members to directly address community identified capacities, root causes, and pressing needs leading to engaged citizenship and purposeful community involvement.

CS-L develops clear expectations and agreements with community partners locally and globally to connect JMU students to meaningful ways of serving the community.
