Roanoke County Parks offer picnic shelters and activities; provides for the entire family quality and comprehensive parks and leisure services.



Call for reservations at picnic pavilions or other recreational facilities. Fees vary for this service. Offers lifetime sports for youth and adults: tennis, golf and basketball. Offers training for coaches and other field personnel. Arranges group trips. Offers Team Building and Group Dynamics Challenge Course adventures.



Offers day and evening activities for seniors, including fitness classes, arts & crafts and fellowship activities at several recreational and senior centers.   Outdoor education programs include caving, trekking, kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing and more. Offers trips and groups in: challenge courses, whitewater rafting, cross country skiing, adventure travel, sea kayaking, hiking and backpacking, alpine skiing, mountain biking and orienteering. Operates Camp Roanoke. Provides holiday events such as a Halloween Party.
