Who We Are

Bridgewater Retirement Community (BRC) is a registered  Life Plan Community (formerly known as Continuing Care Retirement Community) located in Shenandoah Valley in the historic town of Bridgewater. Offers board, lodging, and nursing services to individuals on a long-term basis.

BRC offers independent living in a variety of single-story homes and apartments. Affordable entrance fees and rental contracts are available. Residents of independent living enjoy a host of amenities and crafts, a reading room, computer center, wellness center, game room, styling salon, and dining. A woodworking shop, lapidary shop, ceramic kiln, and an artist group are also available for residents.

A Life Plan Community provides independent living, assisted living, and nursing care as well as a full range of healthcare and supportive services on one campus. Residents benefit from an active lifestyle and gain peace of mind knowing that their future needs will be met without having to relocate outside the community.

Outdoor activities include croquet, putting green, shuffleboard, and basketball. Indoor Tennis is available within walking distance and multiple golf courses are located in the immediate area. Bridgewater College is next door and offers additional educational, social, and recreational activities for residents.

There are volunteer opportunities available at BRC and in the surrounding community.
