Who We Are

The Southeastern Virginia Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association serves as a resource center by publishing a monthly E-newsletter and tri-annual print newsletter, providing a comprehensive library of books, videos, and pamphlets, and supplying the community with the most recent information on a variety of topics concerning Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. In addition, the staff is trained to answer direct individual inquiries and refer people to other resources and services within the community.

If you are interested in checking out a book or video, please call 800-272-3900 to be sure the library space will be open at the time you want to visit or to verify that a specific book is available.  Items can be signed out for 2 weeks at a time.  The books, videos and DVDs can be searched on the website by alphabet or category.

The monthly E-newsletter can be signed up for at the website.
