Mountain Empire Older Citizens (MEOC) provides a congregate nutrition site at the Lay's Building offering a nutritious, hot, noontime meal. Each site offers a variety of activities, exercise, health education, health screenings, music and storytelling, quilting and crafts. Current events and other topics of interest to older citizens are an important part of the program. These sites operate as part of MEOC Wellness Is Now (WIN) initiative. Most WIN Centers also provide community group respite service during regular hours of operation.
Meal site operates on Tuesdays from 9:30AM until 1:30PM at Lay's Building.
