This program provides a hot meal, Monday through Friday, throughout the Peninsula, to individuals primarily age 60 and over who are homebound due to illness or disability and are unable to prepare meals.
Physically or mentally disabled family members who reside with an eligible person may also receive meals. Special diets are available. Frozen meals are kept on hand for emergency and weekend use. Saturday meals are available to eligible clients living in the East End area of Newport News.
