Who We Are
Senior Station offers Community Relations and Leisure Services - Outreach services. The Portsmouth Senior Station is the "Hub" of Information, Activities, Programs and Supportive Services for all area Seniors. Division of Portsmouth Department of Parks and Recreation.
Some activities are morning trivia; billards, cards, table games; ping pong; bible study; blood pressure checks; fitness; survival club; tea time social, movie on Monday; gospel sing; tournament Tuesday; book club; trips; computer classes; craft corner and more.
Van Service is currently available for medical/nutritional and social needs for those 60+ on a 1st call, 1st serve basis. Nutritional lunches served three days a week, donations requested. Both services provided by Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia. Donations to defray expenses are requested
