Who We Are

New River Community College offers Adult Education Programs to assist communities in raising the educational and skill levels of adult citizens. In today's technology-driven society, adults must have opportunities for life-long learning. Adult Education is a critical part of economic development because adults must be able to compete based on skill now more than ever. Building a stronger economy requires people to raise their educational and skill levels. As people gain greater self-sufficiency, they increase their earnings and contribute more to the tax-base of the community.

The NRCC Adult Education Program serves the counties of Floyd, Giles, Montgomery Pulaski, and the city of Radford.
