Who We Are

Project Lifesaver is a rapid response program designed to use state of the art technology in assisting those who care for victims of Alzheimer's and Related Mental Dysfunction Disorders (ARMD) and victims who become lost. These victims include the elderly and even the youngest in our community who are afflicted with Downs Syndrome and Autism.

Partnerships are formed with local law enforcement and public safety organizations. Specially trained teams are able to quickly locate and return wandering adults and children to their families and caregivers.

Enrollment in Project Lifesaver means a personalized wristband or bracelet is given to the individual to wear. The wristband emits a tracking signal. When a caregiver notifies the local Project Lifesaver agency that the person is missing, a rescue team responds to the wanderer's area and searches with the mobile locator tracking system.

This program is 100% volunteer staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Funding for this program is a result of private and corporate donations and grants. Since Project Lifesaver is comprised of volunteers, donations are appreciated and used directly for programs, rescues and educational expenses.
