Lifetime Learning Institute Northern Virginia (LLI/NOVA)'s May Forum is Guns in America. LLI/NOVA, a learning group for adults over 50, will hold its next Forum in person on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 10 - 11 am at the Little River United Church of Christ in Annandale. The speaker will be John Lechelt, Professor of Political Science, at Northern Virginia Community College. He will address the subject of Guns in America: A Complex National Dilemma.
Dr. Lechelt, a graduate of George Mason University, has been a professor at NOVA for over 18 years. He currently teaches courses on American National Politics and State and Local Politics and is the chair of the College Senate, an advisory panel on campus concerns. His students say he is awesome and "one of the best".
