AARP Livability Index

The formula for what makes a community livable for all ages isn't particularly complex. For the most part, the features and needs are fairly simple. AARP has designed a Livability Index for communities all across the country.

The Livability Index scores neighborhoods and communities across the US for the key services and amenities that impact your life the most.

The AARP Livability Index measures every community and neighborhood in the US for areas that affect the quality of life for people of all ages in the areas of Housing, Transportation, Neighborhood, Health, Environment, Social and Civic Engagement, and Educational and Economic Opportunity.
