There are many children living with grandparents or other relative caregivers in their homes. Often there is a lack of information on a range of support services that may be available to them in the role as the child's caregiver.
Generations United created the TANF Fact Sheet for Grandparents Raising Grandchildren to provide a series of questions and answers to help understand the program and questions that should be asked at the local Department of Social Services Office. There are also other valuable resources included in the fact sheet.
