LifeCare Medical Transports provides essential emergency ambulance, non-emergency, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), Specialty Care Transport (SCT), Wheelchair Van, and other varied medical transportation services throughout Virginia. Essential wheelchair van services are offered for people with physical disabilities who require transportation to medical appointments, dialysis treatments, and other outpatient medical care in the Fredericksburg and Roanoke/Salem areas. LifeCare provides on-scene medical standby services for indoor and outdoor public events. LifeCare also offers appointed Logisticare transports (Medicaid Transportation only).

Lifecare has locations in Springfield, Newport News, Charlottesville, Richmond, Fredericksburg, Roanoke/Salem, Martinsville, and Danville. 

Employees assigned to wheelchair van services are required to participate in a standardized orientation program. Drivers are CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) certified, Emergency Vehicle Operator's Course (EVOC) certified, and hold a valid Virginia driver's license with no negative points. All LifeCare ambulances and wheelchair vans meet or exceed the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services regulations regarding required equipment. All wheelchair vans also carry first aid and safety equipment.
