Who We Are
The Good Samaritan Hospice team is a group of dedicated professionals who assist the terminally ill patient and his or her family throughout the patient's illness. In addition to the physical care of terminally ill patients, "Good Sam," as we are affectionately known, provides family support and community education and support related to the end of life and bereavement.
Hospice patients agree to accept treatment that focuses on symptom management rather than cure. All patients remain under the care of an attending physician who gives consent to hospice services. Care is provided for patients at home alone, residing with a caregiver or living in a nursing home, hospital or assisted-living adult care facility.
