Who We Are
Encompass Community Supports AAA’s Home Delivered Meals are distributed from our Central Kitchen and delivered by transit operators. These tasty, frozen meals are produced by GA Food Service, Inc. and meet 1/3 of the recommended daily dietary allowances for older persons. They can be heated either in a microwave or conventional oven; complete instructions are included.
To be eligible for home delivered meals, an individual must be at least 60 years of age and unable to cook or shop for themselves. Meals are delivered every other week.
There is no charge for this service, but we do encourage people, to the extent they are able, to make contributions to offset the cost of the meals.

Intake Process
Contact an Aging Support Coordinator at 540-825-3100 for more information. Ask to speak to the support coordinator for your county. The Aging Services Support Coordinator will need to do a home visit assessment to register you for this program. We are VDA funded and require a UAI intake plus additional information that will be collected upon a home visit. An initial assessment by a Senior Case Manager will determine a person’s eligibility and nutritional needs.
