Who We Are

The newest of Deaf-REACH’s programs is the HIV Prevention Program, aimed to educate Deaf adults and youth about HIV and AIDS. It includes culturally and linguistically effective methods for reaching the wider Deaf community with the message of HIV prevention and safer sex practices. Using curricula uniquely designed for the Deaf community: educational workshops, one-on-one counseling and materials teaching safer-sex are offered as well as referrals to treatment when needed. The program strives to offer a confidential and comfortable environment to ask questions and become educated.

We offer free HIV testing to the deaf and hard of hearing community.

Convenient to a bus. Convenient to Brookland-Catholic U. subway stop.
