Who We Are
Volunteers are an integral part of daily operations and help provide activities in all programs offered by the Neighborhood and Community Services (NCS) Department. There are opportunities to work with seniors, people with disabilities, special events planning,teaching , working outdoors, writing, answering telephones,or other activities. Volunteers may commit to long-term assignment or something temporary. Volunteers must
- Attend Volunteer Training
- Abide by the Volunteer Ethics, Golden Rules and Responsibilities and the Code of Conduct
- Respect the public and be responsive to its needs
- Be willing to learn
- Meet the schedule and length of service that you negotiated with the agency
