Who We Are
ADAPT Clubhouse (ADAPT) is a place for individuals with brain injuries to participate in a supportive work-ordered day. The program's primary focus is to assist individuals with brain injuries in leading productive lives. This is achieved through skill building, volunteerism, vocational exploration, and Employment Development Services (EDS).
This program is a transitional day skill-building and training program for adults with acquired brain injury. ADAPT offers goal-focused programming to promote independence at home and in the community. The program offers a safe, controlled environment where persons with a brain injury can develop and practice important skills; it is person-centered, with all participants actively participating in goal setting and program planning.
ADAPT has a daily schedule structured to meet the members' needs. Each day has a theme or focus (Leisure Skills and Interests, Home and Life Skills, Social and Relationship Skills, and Self-Advocacy and Career Skills) so members can decide which day or days best meet their needs.
