Who We Are
The Department of Housing & Neighborhood Preservation provides and supports a variety of resources to help people obtain, keep and maintain housing. They provide lists of subsidized housing available in metro area, as well as one-on-one housing counseling/assistance and advice on how to get housing.
Other services include affordable rental housing, home ownership opportunities, home improvements, opportunities for housing organizations, code enforcement, neighborhood and youth services, housing emergency and homeless assistance, fair housing and Section 8 housing.
Rental security and utility deposit program is available for those who qualify.
Please check the webpage periodically for updates about the waiting list and when applications will be accepted. A public announcement will also be made when the waiting list will reopen.
