Who We Are
A 22 bed facility for women and children who are victims of domestic violence is maintained. The 24-hour toll-free hotline for information referral and intake is 888-250-4325. Hope House provides residents with food, clothing, and some transportation. Assists with advocacy for legal assistance, housing, employment services, education, social services, and counseling. Offers programs for children in residence and parenting support groups. Also available are emergency cell phones, arrangements to shelter pets, supervised custody exchange, and a batterer intervention program.
Advocacy services are provided. Limited transportation is available and must be scheduled in advance.
Provides speakers to agencies and community groups on such topics as "The Dynamics of Domestic Violence." "The Effects of Domestic Violence," and "Volunteering."
This program is a collaborative effort of the Scott County Crime Prevention Association and other community members. Volunteers are welcome.
