Who We Are

The Virginia Department for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (VDDHH) Outreach program offers information and referral; workshops; training; a device demonstration center; newsletter; meeting room; classes in sign language and coping skills; and an assistive equipment loans program called The Technology Assistance Program (TAP). 



The program also provides consultation to schools, business, churches, government agencies and organizations; speaker's bureau for people interested in learning more about hearing loss.
