Who We Are
HELP provides emergency financial assistance when funds are available for Dominion Virginia Power, Virginia Natural Gas, Waterworks, and H.R.S.D. Requirements for assistance are to:
- Be a Hampton resident
- Be one (1) year since last helped
- Have a disconnect notice
- Prove crisis or hardship
- If you are in need of emergency financial assistance, you must first call the Housing Crisis Hotline at 757-587-4202.

Any requests that are not related to rent, mortgage, and utilities will be considered on a case-by-case basis and assistance cannot be guaranteed
Individuals can call the Day Center office at 757-723-2242 for additional information.
