A new program under Emergency Assistance is the Meds Project. This program provides vouchers to clients to allow them to procure much needed prescription medication and supplies. Working in conjunction with local pharmacies, this program allows clients to prevent, manage or stabilize such ailments as hypertension, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart condition, cancer management and other illnesses.
