Who We Are

The Clarke County Parks and Recreation Department offers a host of recreational activities and programs for all ages. A listing of programs and activities can be found in the Department's newsletter, "The Core". The newsletter is mailed three times a year to all Clarke County residents and to those requesting to be placed on the mailing list. The Department also manages the 102 acre park that houses an outdoor swimming pool, lighted outdoor tennis courts, 6 ball fields, 4 soccer fields, a Recreation Center, 4 picnic shelters and a fitness trail.



The Clarke County Park is located West of Berryville, off of Old Business Route 7 at 225 Al Smith Circle in Berryville, Virginia 22611.

Visit the Recreation Center for gymnasium activities, kitchen, multi purpose room,  fitness room, arts and craft room, and the Active Living Center for special events and health screenings.  The Clarke County Senior center is housed in this space on Tuesdays - Fridays.
