Aging Speakers Bureau

Crater District Area Agency on Aging provides a Speakers Bureau.  Staff is available to give information on a variety of topics affecting senior citizens. There is no charge, although a donation is suggested.

Some topics are telemarketing fraud, identity theft, choosing a nursing home or assisted living facility, nutrition, homemaker support services, community resources for seniors, preventive maintenance for the home, wills, advance directives, powers of attorney, alternative living arrangements, assistive technology, mental health and aging, investment planning, Medigap insurance, Long Term Care Insurance, Alzheimer's care and treatment, new trends in geriatric medicine and Social Security.
