Who We Are
Hunton Andrews Kurth, formerly Hunton and Williams, provides affordable legal representation for the City of Richmond residents who cannot afford to hire a private attorney, but whose incomes are too large to make them eligible for Legal Aid. Provides civil representation in family law (uncontested divorces, adoptions, name changes), housing and real estate matters (including landlord/tenant issues), and guardianship matters. Free consultations, by appointment only, are offered on the above issues. Henrico Program: Provides screening and intake for qualified Henrico residents for the following matters: landlord/tenant, uncontested divorces, bankruptcy, simple wills, powers of attorney, and advance medical directives. Cases accepted are referred to a pro bono attorney at the Henrico County Bar.
Hunton Andrews Kurth provides pro bono legal services to those in the communities who cannot afford to pay for a lawyer. Legal services there include family law, housing and real estate, and guardianship. Since its opening, more than 100 of our lawyers have volunteered to help over 6,500 pro bono clients in the Church Hill office alone.
