Who We Are
The Pony Express offers seasonal transportation along the green and red routes which cover most commerce areas of Chincoteague Island. The route of the Pony Express passes many motels, restaurants, shops, parks, recreational areas, ice cream parlors, and campgrounds. There are RIDE THE PONY EXPRESS signs along the route. If you do not see a Trolley Ride sign, please wave for the trolley to stop and pick you up.
The fare is $0.50 or 2 tokens per person. Exact change is required.
The trolley runs seasonally between May and October. Please call or visit the website for more details.
