Emergency Home Repair, Central Virginia

Community Housing Partners (CHP) offers Emergency Home Repair Program.  This program improves housing conditions and opportunities for low and very low-income Virginians who live in sub-standard housing and have no ability to improve the unhealthy conditions. The program provides funds to remove imminent health and safety hazards, and/or barriers to habitability in their homes.

Emergency Home Repair program includes services on electrical work, plumbing, roofing, structural repairs, energy management and heating systems and installation of wheelchair ramps and other accessibility modifications.

Often, volunteer help from the recipient family is utilized to assist with the improvements.
