LifeSpire of Virginia, Lakewood, Assisted Living

Lakewood is a Life Plan Community, also known as a continuing care retirement community, offering residential and assisted living care to both ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents. Individuals from the community (those not living at Lakewood) are admitted to the assisted living facility if space permits.

Assisted Living serves adults who need minimal assistance with personal care, dressing, ambulation, and other aspects of daily living. Residents in Assisted Living enjoy private studio apartments with private baths. The activity area is near the residential apartments to increase visibility, and accessibility and encourage participation in planned activities. Residents also benefit both mentally and physically from participation in a variety of programs and activities provided by trained, experienced professionals. Residents in Assisted Living benefit from compassionate, quality services that promote dignity and grace in aging. Individuals must be current residents of the Lakewood Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) to move to another level of care.
