Wheelchair Transportation, ADA Compliant, Escorted Transportation

Moon River Senior Care and Transportation provides transportation for all types of riders. Moon River has an ADA compliant van that can accommodate those who need to travel in a wheelchair. Transportation can be to medical appointments, social outings, shopping, or errands.  Our service includes door-through-door transportation and assistance getting in and out of the vehicle.

There is an option of having a caregiver stay with the client or just provide drop-off service. One of our caregivers can document instructions from a healthcare provider and assist with a prescription pick-up.  Following an appointment, the caregiver can help a client note the date and time of any future appointments.

Transportation requests include a mileage fee in addition to the hourly rate. The fee is the same for weekdays, evenings, and weekends. We also provide limited service on holidays at a higher rate. 

Moon River serves Loudoun County and western Fairfax Counties. Cities served include, but are not limited to, Ashburn, Leesburg, Fairfax, Falls Church, Centreville, Chantilly, and Reston.
