Who We Are

YWCA South Hampton Roads is dedicated to promoting the healing and empowerment of survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking. The Counseling Center provides crisis short-term and long-term adult and children’s counseling to victims, significant others, and other friends/family members affected by violence.  The Counseling Center offers support, information and referral, individual counseling, support groups and advocacy to women, men and children victimized by sexual assault.    Services also include a 24-hours crisis helpline providing resources and referrals for individuals who are victims of sexual and domestic violence.

 

The program may have a satellite office in the cities of Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach and Norfolk, as well as at the Counseling Center in Norfolk.
