The Independence offers independent living for active adults who are 55 and over. Offers one and two bedroom apartments with many options for comfortable living and include water, sewer and trash. Some amenities are elevator service, controlled access, Meditation garden, outdoor heated spa, resident garden plots, walking trail, grills and picnic area, horseshoe and bocce ball courts and children's play area for the grandchildren. Nearby conveniences are hospitals, shopping, grocery stores, churches, pharmacies, restaurants and other professional services.
An Activities Director is on staff to plan a variety of activities and entertainment. The clubhouse offers a great room with grand piano, billiards and game room, cyber cafe, internet-accessible computer stations, exercise room, aerobics studio and more.
The location of The Independence offers views of rolling hills and the Blue Ridge Mountains.
