Who We Are
Centra Hospice has a strong volunteer program. Carefully recruited and thoroughly trained volunteers are actively involved in direct and indirect patient care roles and participate as members of the interdisciplinary team. Volunteers may work as friendly advisers, providing companionship and support during times of anger, fear, confusion, and pain. They also help run errands and provide transportation to patients and their families.
