Domestic Violence, Roanoke Valley Violence Prevention Council

The Roanoke Valley Violence Prevention Council (RVVPS), formerly the Family Violence Coordinating Council, is a standing committee of the Council of Community Services. RVVPC is a coalition of professionals that includes human service agencies, lawyers, legal aid , police officers, and health care providers. The goall is to increase the resources available to deal with family violence, intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking and  to empower our community by raising awareness of family violence issues and resources.
