Travel Training for People with Disabilities

Easterseals Project Action Consulting, a division of Easterseals, Inc., provides customized training solutions and technical expertise on the Americans with Disabilities Act and accessible transportation for transportation providers, human service agencies, states, regional agencies, tribal nations, and communities with the goal of working together to build accessible communities for all.

Easter Seals Project ACTION (ESPA) is a national online assistance project funded through a cooperative agreement with the United States Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration.   ESPA sponsored training, technical assistance, resources and publications offer user-friendly information on the implementation of the Americans WIth Disabilities (ADA) in all aspects of transportation. Direct requests for technical assistance can be made through the toll free hotline or via e-mail. Technical assistance provided by ESPA should not be considered to be legal advice or the opinion of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Office of Civil Rights. Materials on the ADA and transportation are reviewed by the FTA’s office of Civil Rights prior to publication.
