Most of us use some form of Assistive technology (AT) in our daily
lives, everything from glasses or screen readers to voice-activated
remotes and home management systems.
Sonja Schaible, AT Acquisition and Aging Coordinator at DARS,
will share examples of available technology for seniors and ideas to
consider when selecting equipment for your home.
Frazelle Hampton Virginia Captioned Telephone Outreach
Coordinator at Hamilton Relay, will speak specifically to devices
that assist those who are deaf, hard of hearing, Deaf/Blind or
experience difficulty speaking.
