Who We Are
The Colonial Behavioral Health (CBH) Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Clinic provides outpatient based withdrawal management services to opioid-dependent adults. The program includes ongoing medication management and counseling services. Services are adapted to the individual's strengths, needs, abilities and preferences as developed in the person-centered treatment plan.
Colonial Behavioral Health facilitates opportunities for recovery, resiliency and wellness to individuals and families in its service area affected by behavioral health, development disabilities and substance use disorders.

Serves residents of the City of Williamsburg and James City County.
Other Eligibility Criteria
Physiologically dependent on opioids and requires outpatient treatment to prevent withdrawal;
Willing to participate in outpatient counseling;
Able to pay all program fees;
Not scheduled for a medical procedure or surgery that will require pain medication; and
Not pregnant. All pregnant women will be referred to an appropriate provider.
