Low Income Apartments

Scott Hill Retirement Community is an elevator-equipped retirement community for seniors (those 62-years-old or greater), or adults applying for an apartment specifically constructed to be accessible to individuals with physical disabilities.  Scott Hill has two distinct residences within the greater community: Briarcliffe Residences and Ridgeview Residences. Briarcliffe features one-bedroom apartments, while one- and two-bedroom options are found in Ridgeview.  Each apartment has a full kitchen, oversize thermal pane windows for maximum sunlight and scenic views of the surrounding Allegheny mountains and the Jackson River.

Handicapped accessible van transportation is available on a scheduled basis Monday through Friday. RADAR transportation available. Onsite are Hairstylist, Case Management, Support Groups, Social Coordinators on staff.  Apartments are 5 minutes from Lewis Gale-Alleghany Hospital. Numerous activities are available in the multi-purpose activity room. Pool room, television lounge, potluck suppers, crafts, community programs and optional day trips are available.

The entrance to the building is wheelchair accessible and elevators are available for upper floors. Secure interior apartment entrances.
