Who We Are

The Alzheimer's Association sponsors support groups throughout southwest Virginia (managed by the Tennessee Chapter) to provide education, information, and support for family members and other caregivers.  These groups offer caregivers an opportunity to learn about issues relating to Alzheimer's and to share personal experiences and coping skills.

Many support groups are available throughout the Chapter’s service area in a variety of locations such as churches, libraries, community centers, and assisted living facilities.  Because meeting details can change (location, contact person, in person or virtual), it is important to confirm a meeting’s information ahead of time.

To view all listings of the support groups' times and locations, visit the events page on the Alzheimer’s Association website or call the 24/7 Helpline at 800-272-3900.
