Dental Care Clinic

Staff at the Medical Education Campus (MEC) provides dental services through the Dental Hygiene Clinic and the Dental Restorative Clinic.  Services are provided at the Medical Education Campus (MEC) at 6699 Springfield Center Drive.

Under the supervision of registered dental hygienists, students provide preventive dental care, including routine examination of teeth and soft tissue, scaling and polishing, home care instructions, flouride applications, diagnostic radiographs, blood pressure screenings, sealants, nutritional counseling and periodontal screening.

Dentists are on staff to provided any needed dental work.  Dental services can include diagnostic, x-rays, fillings, simple extractions, root canals, partial dentures, crowns, bridges, mouth guards, veneers, inlays and onlays.

For emergency dental care, individuals must go to the Dental Restorative clinic.
