Who We Are
Evaluation, assessment and training of individuals with disabilities, change in medical status, or the elderly. Driving programs is taught by registered occupational therapists with instructor driving permit who have studied the social, emotional and physiological implications of illness and injury. They evaluate participants' medical history and driving record, and assess their physical, cognitive, and sensory-motor skills. They can determine whether participants need adaptive equipment and can help people find the appropriate equipment for their personal vehicle.
On-road driving evaluation and instruction is offered, which allows participants to practice on a driving range and in rural, suburban and highway settings. Usually can begin assessment within one-two weeks of request.
