Who We Are
The Home Delivered Meals program at Encompass Community Supports provides nutritious, frozen meals to adults aged 60 and over who are unable to leave their homes due to illness, disability, or frailty and have no assistance preparing meals or shopping for food. Meals are delivered on a set monthly schedule. The meals are developed and based on guidelines from the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services. These meals are low in sugar and salt to accommodate individuals with special diets.
Donations are encouraged to help offset cost.

Intake Process
Contact an Aging Support Coordinator at 540-825-3100 for more information. Ask to speak to the support coordinator for your county. The Aging Services Support Coordinator will need to do a home visit assessment to register you for this program. We are VDA funded and require a UAI intake form and a nutritional assessment. An initial assessment by a Senior Case Manager will determine a person’s eligibility and nutritional needs.
