Who We Are
Lewis-Gale Medical Center offers behavioral health programs dedicated to meeting the needs of families and individuals suffering from a variety of mental and behavioral problems. Outpatient psychiatric and substance abuse services are offered to ages 13 and up, adults, impaired professionals and seniors age 55 and over. Patients with all types of psychiatric and/or substance abuse disorders are eligible for treatment.
Following a free, face-to-face assessment, care plans are developed that prioritize safety, crisis stabilization, collaboration with outpatient treatment opportunities and follow-up aftercare. A variety of treatment options for depression, anxiety, and a host of other issues are offered.
