The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly American Dietetic Association) provides a national referral service that links consumers, and others with dietetics professionals. You can use the Find a Dietitian option to locate a dietitian in your area.

The mission of the American Dietetic Association, ADA, is to promote optimal nutrition and well-being for all people by advocating for its members. With nearly 70,000 members , the ADA is the nation's largest organization of food and nutrition professionals-registered dietitians (RD), dietetic technicians-registered (DTR), clinical and community dietetics professionals, consultants, food service managers, educators, researchers, dietetic technicians, and students.
