Legal Assistance, Belle Haven

Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia provides direct quality legal assistance to low income persons in civil matters only through representation in court hearings, negotiations, legal counseling and referrals; provides community legal education through speakers' bureau. No criminal cases are accepted. Services provided to individuals who meet eligibility criteria and, in certain instances, groups or organizations which either consist primarily of persons who are income eligible, or have as their purpose the promotion of the interests of low income persons but lack the funds for legal representation.
