Who We Are

American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) funds research that explores the effects of food, nutrition, physical activity and body weight on the development, treatment and survival of cancer.  They accept research grant applications to study cancer prevention, treatment and survival.

Call toll-free to request educational materials, information on specific cancers, and personalized answers to your nutrition questions.  AICR provides free educational materials, quarterly newsletter, monthly eNews email, Nutrition Hotline 800-843-8114, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, CancerResource™ programs for newly diagnosed patients, online  information about before, during and after cancer treatment, Where to Find Help, memorial donations, gift annuities and estate planning.
