Who We Are
Prevention and Early Intervention Programs are offered to educate the community about risk factors for substance use, mental illness, emotional disturbance, intellectual disability (mental retardation) and other disorders.
This prevention program for the elderly focuses on prevention of depression, suicide and substance abuse. Elderly take more prescription and over the counter medication than any other age; alcohol abuse is also a topic of prevention. Information on suicide, substance abuse and depression is available.
Workshops and presentations of these prevention topics are available with a focus on awareness of the community. This program works with families and caregivers to facilitate support groups and training. Contact our Prevention Specialists, for more information.
