Arlington Aging and Disability Services
Who We Are
Senior Loop Transportation (the Loop)- Weekly or monthly scheduled transportation service to grocery stores for the residents of five retirement housing facilities. All Arlington residents age 55 years and older who can get to these locations may use the Loop.
Residents of Culpepper Garden, The Carlin, Claridge House, Hunters Park and Woodland Hill should request a registration form from the management of their residence. The form will be forwarded to the STAR office and STAR staff will schedule the service. An application can also be requested from STAR at 703-228-1900.
Diamond Transportation provides the service using a wheelchair-accessible van, at no charge. The Senior Loop is a joint project of the Departments of Environmental Services and Human Services.
There is also a Summer Loop that offers transportation to participating Senior Farmer's Markets.
