Who We Are

The Virginia Department for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Outreach services are offered through community education with information tables at local events, speaking to civic organizations, attending support group meetings and working one on one with consumers who need training to use equipment.  Outreach is also provided though workshops on a variety of subjects.

VDDHH provides Outreach Services on a regional basis.  These services offer training for persons who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing and their families, as well as training to businesses and organizations that serve persons who have a hearing loss.  Provides information about local services, including where to find sign language classes, support services and technical equipment to aid persons who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing with their communication needs.
